Hyde Arisen

Hyde Arisen

Tarred feathered cries, Promised mourning never arrives,

Rotted soils of the mind fatality impaled.

Matrix-ion dreams a fairy myth, Ye nightmares a reality unleashed.

Frailties squired away, Unshackled chest of secrets dark,

Depths only you can swim to, As Hyde poisoned it and choked it to life.

Sanity is at loss, a week, a fortnight, how long can you last?

Selah the beast of rage finally bellows forth his blast!

Hyde what he is, and becoming, but Hyde you did not,

Bravery burning well of misfortune, The kill switch turning y’all flipped.

Hold back, for the unravelling psyche is merciless and infectious,

Screams of spittle, kicking and pounding the unbroken walls,

A chasm feeling no pain, Adrenalin burning straight to the brain.

Anger, malice, revenge spews forth with no thought to their venom,

Ye with the faucet turned off, no heat but cool clear confusion,

With the dawning horrors of consciousness.

The night jigsaws of broken glass shear your bloody memories,

Rinse and repeat looking at your reflection, scrub harder to make the connection,

Will Hyde ever come back, not so easy to wipe away,

Fight him back? Our only chance is to the dying of our days.
